Trivia question: According to commedian Jerry Clower, what was “moved to the Delta Connector”? Bonus question: where is the Delta Connector today?
As for me, what has been moved is BlogOrDie.com. My blog is now nestled in on another web hosting company. The new company is TRK Hosting. In a year from now, check with me for a recommendation.
What is the name of the joke this was in?
It was part of a long story. Clower was changing planes at the old Atlanta airport and wanted to get a haircut, but when he went to the barbershop location, there was a sign that said “MOVED TO THE DELTA CONNECTOR.” Clower asked many people where the Delta connector was, but none could tell him. He even asked then mayor of Atlanta, Maynard Jackson, and he didn’t know either.
I can’t find any reference to the story online.
I didn’t last out the year with TRK hosting. I left in a hurry, and without a refund.
A-yup.
The answer is “the barber shop” in the Atlanta airport?
The answer is “the barber shop” in the Atlanta airport. The point of Clower’s joke is that no one seemed to know where the Delta Connector was, not even Maynard Jackson, the mayor of Atlanta.
The airport that Clower talked about in his story was demolished years ago to make room for the new Hartsfield International Airport. So wherever the Delta Connector once was, it is no more.
