Started Atkins again last Sunday. It’s Friday now. I lost 5 lbs so far. At first I felt headachy and often hungry. Now I’m feeling better. The diet only works for me if I go way-low on the carbs at first. Later I can slack off. I’ve been eating mostly meat, cheese and eggs with a little salad here and there.
I’m not sure just how low I want to go this time. I started at 200. 180 sounds like a nice not overly round number.
191.2 this morning. I was down to 188, but I’ve been bad.

I’m traveling. Staying on diet is hard. This meeting I’m attending has free cookies, soda, yogurt, Hagen Daas ice cream, fruit juices, candy, and assorted breads and cakes.
Arghhh.
Rather a shake up. New scale weighs 9 lbs heavier than the old one. So let’s start over. I’m at 200.0 today (209 old scale).
I had a boiled egg today.
Tuesday, down 7 lbs. Had quiche for supper too.
It’s Monday, down 6 lbs. Had quiche lorainne for lunch (without the crust).
